About Perma Jack of St. Louis

Tim and Otto Tucker

Perma Jack Company was started in 1974 by Mr. George Langenbach in St. Louis, Missouri. The company was created in response to the need for an efficient and cost effective means for stabilizing and repairing building and basement foundations. George came up with the idea of using hydraulically driven steel piers to bed rock to support a foundation's footing. This method of foundation repair was the first patented method developed for this industry. This type of steel piering revolutionized the industry as a dependable, low impact, high quality solution for foundation repair.

Perma Jack of St. Louis was started by George's son, John Langenbach in 1974. It was later purchased by Otto Tucker, and his son Tim, in 1986. The Tuckers' vision was to provide this unique product of steel piering to homes and businesses of St. Louis and couple it with the other needed and related services and products such as basement waterproofing, foundation crack repairs, mud jacking and slab jacking. Their objective was and is to provide complete cost effective solutions for all types of structural repairs and waterproofing.

While Otto retired early on, Tim has been running the business "hands on" compiling an impressive 20 plus years of experience analyzing foundation and wet basement problems. Tim has successfully engineered solutions for literally 1000s of homes and structures in St. Louis and the surrounding area.

Perma Jack of St. Louis' long term success is built on the satisfaction of their customers and the referrals they provide. Added to that is the trust they have earned from St. Louis engineers, contractors, home inspectors, realtors and insurance companies who refer many of their clients to Perma Jack. These professionals know they can rely on Perma Jack to provide reliable and cost effective solutions for structural and foundation repairs.

Our best method for insuring customer satisfaction can be found in our unique lifetime warranty. The real benefit of Perma Jack's unique warranty is how it can improve the resale ability and value of a home or structure.
